Images are, for me, a means by which I take my best shot at pausing a moment, documenting a scene occurring on life’s screen with its emotions, and intentions. There is no real pause of course… to life, there is only movement. All images are framed by and sit atop waves of movement! Therefore, images themselves move, and images move the bodies of water that behold them.
All these images and scenes represent the past, as well as the future; as well as the present, the lens of now…magnifying and dissolving what was and what may be into what is.
The design that is desire, the design that sits atop the great unknown, as a transparency in high school biology sits on the projector… back in the day. My prime lens of choice is love, and a large aperture 50mm, of course. All the images you will find here on this site are filtered through the medium of love - a channel through which the life I see and participate in is understood!
This essential lens is permanently fitted to the front of whatever camera through which I look. That I may always look with my heart, in addition to the eyes… as many a wise woman have instructed and inspired me to do. A few wise men too. And many wise children, by virtue of simply being love. May these images find you with a sense of looking through the same lens… the lens that is love.
